Sorta Festive Slow Cooker Turkey

  • 1 kilogram turkey breast meat
  • 200 grams bacon (About 10 slices)
  • 2 apples, cored, peeled and chopped into wedges
  • 100 grams dried cranberries
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  1. Lie 5 slices of bacon down on the bottom of your slow cooker. Layer the turkey breast on top of that.

  2. Pour in your dried cranberries and apple wedges.

  3. Top with the other 5 slices of bacon. Toss a bit of ground pepper on top.

  4. Turn on slow cooker to low for about 5 hours.

    By the way - the turkey sorta sticks together and shreds apart (Honest, that sentence makes sense.). So you just sorta pull out bits of it onto your plate. Serves.... well, probably quite a lot!
